DAY TEN: Grey leather trophy biker jacket, Topshop
If there’s one thing that every girl should own, it’s a good leather jacket. I fell in love with this studded number from Topshop’s SS09 line and it took me six weeks to build up the courage to plunk down my plastic and splurge.
But splurge I did and over the last 18 months or so that it’s been part of my wardrobe, it has been worth every penny. The cropped sleeves mean that it suits all seasons; in bitter winter, I wear a hoodie underneath and in summer, I unzip the sides and push up the sleeves. Pound for pound, it’s the hardest working piece in rotation in my wardrobe.
