DAY ELEVEN
DAY ELEVEN: Purple and black silk playsuit, Topshop
It’s been over a week, so I figured it was only fair to bring out another playsuit. I picked this one up in the Christmas sales at Topshop at a ridiculous reduction (I think it was £60 down to £18) and although it was some time until I could wear it, I love it for the snakeskin print and awesome bib front zips which makes it far easier to get out of than a button-up playsuit.
The only fault with it is the fact that it rides down at the front almost immediately due to the weight from the popper and zipper detail. I found this out after a photo appeared of me on facebook with half of my bra hanging out. Oops. To combat the problem, I layer it up with a little lace vest underneath for an underwear-as-outerwear detail.
Worn with: lace vest, Marks and Spencer; Gold sandals, Topshop; Grey leather jacket, Doma; Yellow satchel, Asos; Tortoiseshell sunglasses, Carrera.
