DAY FOURTEEN: Feather print top, Next
As those who know me will attest, when the summer comes, I turn into a bit of a hippy - hairbands, fringing and a slightly feral hairdo all come into play. This weekend has been no exception and having to wear actual clothes as opposed to just a bikini during the heat is difficult but today’s BBQ guests required it so this feather print top was a great solution as the loose cut means I didn’t overheat even in the baking sun and nor did I burn with weird tan lines.
As I mentioned earlier, my hippy side likes to come out in this weather and invariably i find myself drawn to feather prints of all sorts. Next is not usually my first port of call but last summer I mysteriously ended up in the Westfield store where I purchased this top as well as a few other bits. The moral of today’s tale is never discount a store for no good reason.

Yes, they’re back! Turns out, they were hiding down the back of the sofa. Hurrah! Sorry fashionable poltergeist, you were wrongly accused.
