DAY SIXTEEN

DAY SIXTEEN: Super stretch skinny jeans, Citizens of Humanity

Stop press! I have done the impossible and found the ultimate skinny jeans in the shape of these from COH. Being fat of bottom but with a relatively small waist, most jeans gape at the back and leave my pants exposed. Even when I do find a pair, they usually lose their shape after a few wears and end up sliding down my legs.

Anyway. This pair turned up on my desk at work the other day, looking improbably small (seriously, they measured about 20cm across). I took one look at them and promptly laughed - I wouldn’t be able to get a knee in them, let alone my whole lower body -Oh, how wrong I was.

The super stretch means they fit like a second skin, far more legging than jeans and they are super, super flattering. I think that I may finally be lured away from my Topshop Baxters - which I find it increasingly hard to squeeze into - not good for my thigh morale - and welcome some more super stretch into my life.

Worn with: Skeleton tee, Zara; Nude ballet pumps, Topshop; Green military jacket, Da Nang; Black headband, H&M.
