DAY TWENTY

DAY TWENTY: Black wellies, Hunter Boots

Sorry for the delay in posting, there was the small matter of Guilfest and a barely usable phone battery getting in the way of regular updates. I figured that seeing as I was at a festival this weekend and will be at another one next weekend, it was about time for a little bit of a festival edition of 30 Days but obviously, not 30 days of festival because noone sane will willingly camp for that long.

Anyway, on with the post. The one thing that every girl needs at a festival is wellies and it doesn’t get much better than a pair of Hunters. These are like the Rolls Royce of gum boots - comfy, stylish and hard wearing - mine have lasted endless summers of sloshing through mud and have yet to show any real signs of wear and tear. These are the classic Unisex style with the buckle on the side but there is an absolutely ridiculous amount of styles to choose from these days. I love mine so much that I’ll even wear them when it’s dry as they have a good thick sole that will navigate even the most horrendously lumpy terrain. Plus, they make a great mallett for hammering in tent pegs!

Worn with: Fringed dress, Paul & Joe Sister; Lace shorts, Sparkle & Fade; Military jacket, Da Nang; Blue Wayfarers, Ray-Ban; Yellow satchel, Asos.
