DAY TWENTY ONE: Grey hoodie, Marc by Marc Jacobs
Following on from my previous festival post, another essential if you’re going to spend a weekend in a field is without a doubt an oversize hoodie. I liked the one I bought my boyfriend so much (and he hated me constantly borrowing it) that I decided to buy my own one.
There is nothing quite so miserable as being outdoors at night and freezing, so sticking one of these under a jacket or over a flimsy summer dress is a great way of keeping warm. Ditto for when when you’re lying in your tent in the middle of the night, shaking in your sleeping bag from the freezing night temperatures and the beer jacket you were wearing earlier has evaporated. And finally, for the journey home. I slept a grand total of about four hours over the whole weekend (thanks, fellow campers) so come Sunday morning, I was ready to head home and straight to bed to catch up on some much needed sleep and this lovely hoodie worked as a much needed blanket for the drive home. Roll on, next weekend…
Worn with: Tuxedo print tee, New Look (mens); Denim shorts, Zara; Black wellies, Hunter Boots; Blue Wayfarers, Ray-Ban
