DAY TWENTY THREE
DAY TWENTY THREE: Black dress, Zara
I was having a bit of a sartorial panic when I woke up yesterday; First, it was bakingly hot. Secondly, I really needed to do some laundry. Third, I was going to be coming straight from work and seeing some family friends who I hadn’t seen for over a decade so I needed to be presentable. Read: no leather shorts.
When in doubt, get the LBD out! This one from Zara is empire line, in a grecian pleated style so hides a multitude of sins. It’s clearly popular as the same dress appears in their stores virtually every summer in slightly different shades as well as the ever-present black. In fact, it was so popular with me that I accidentally-on-purpose bought two of the same dress so that I’d always have one at the ready in case of a fashion crisis.
