DAY THIRTY
So it’s the final day and post for Summer Heroes which makes me kind of sad as I’ve really enjoyed doing this challenge and I’ve still got plenty more I’d like to do but I’m sure they’ll come up at another point.
My final item is the denim jacket. Before you judge me for wearing A&F, I’d like to point out that this jacket is about a decade old. It used to be a mid-blue but ten years of wearing and washing have bleached and shrunk it to the perfect size. It has a rip above one of the pockets and it’s fraying all over the place but that just makes me love it all the more.
In the great British summer weather it’s the perfect cover up and it fits effortlessly with virtually any outfit but my favourite pairing is definitely with maxi dresses for the contrast, as seen here.
Worn with: Striped maxi dress, New Look; Gold sandals, Topshop; Yellow satchel, Asos.
So, that’s it for Summer Heroes but I’ll be back next week with a whole new thirty day challenge and hopefully by then, a whole new website too so keep checking back.
